This privacy policy explains how amrudincatic.com handles information when you visit. This site is operated by Amrudin Catic and provides marketing engineering and growth consulting services. The policy may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the most recent revision.

What data may be collected
This site does not require user registration or user accounts. Depending on third-party services in use (see below), limited technical data may be collected automatically when you visit - such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages viewed. No personally identifiable information is actively solicited or stored by this site directly.

How data is used
Any data collected through third-party services is used solely to understand how the site is used and to improve its content and performance. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or other third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process data under Google's own privacy terms. The site also uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are cookieless and collect only aggregated, non-identifying usage and performance metrics. These tools do not identify you personally, and you can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site itself stores one item in your browser: on a small screen such as a phone, if you close the booking bar pinned to the bottom, a single flag named mobileStickyCta:dismissed is kept in session storage so the bar stays closed while you browse. It holds no personal data, is never sent anywhere, and is deleted when you close the tab.

Third-party services
This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request and edge-network data needed to serve the pages. The site's own fonts are self-hosted, so it contacts no font provider. The booking page loads a scheduling widget from Cal.com only when you open it, and that widget may set its own cookies while it is open. Some articles show a video from YouTube. Until you press play, the video is only a link on this site and requests nothing from YouTube. When you press play, the player loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain: from that moment YouTube receives your IP address, may keep technical items in your browser's local storage, and loads its own fonts from Google. Without JavaScript, the link opens the video on youtube.com instead. These providers process data under their own privacy policies, which this site does not control. Links to external sites are not covered by this policy.

Emails I send end with a signature that shows my handwritten name as an image hosted on this site, at https://www.amrudincatic.com/email/signature-blue.png. When your mail app displays it, your device or your mail provider requests that image from Vercel like any other file here, with the standard request data described above. It is not a tracking pixel: the address is the same in every email to every recipient, so the request cannot tell me who opened which message, and no email I send is tracked. The links in the signature to this site carry the tags utm_source=email and utm_medium=signature, so the analytics described above can count visits that came from an email, without knowing who sent or received it.

This site does not directly retain personal data. Retention periods for any data held by third-party services (such as analytics providers or the hosting platform) are governed by their respective policies.
